The day's festivities started early with Bristol Cathedral's Choir helping Santa open The Galleries grotto, a festive procession through Broadmead, and yuletide carols under Cabot's giant Christmas Tree. 

The big show kicked off at 6pm; with a fantastic Urban Circus act. Areal performers, ribbon dancers, and pyrotechnics took centre stage as the countdown began for Cabot Circus' Christmas Lights switch on 2014.
