Excalibur Appoints New Chairwoman

Mobile, landline & IT solutions firm, Excalibur Communications have appointed Nicky Alberry as their new Chairwoman.

Following a revamp of the company's structure, processes, strategies and expansion plans, Nicky will assist CEO James Phipps on his quest to grow Excalibur rapidly during 2014. 

Having known each other for several years, James has worked alongside Nicky on the Swindon Influence Board as well as the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). This combined with Nicky’s broad knowledge base and experience in the South West business community, made her the ideal candidate for the role.

James commented, “Having worked closely with Nicky over a number of years, her work ethic, experience and community involvement is the ideal fit for Excalibur. We are very much on the same page in our approach to running a business and I’m looking forward to what the future holds with Nicky on board.”

Excalibur currently holds the highest levels of partnership with partners Vodafone, Microsoft & BlackBerry, the role will also focus on maximising opportunities for Excalibur with these industry leaders.

Nicky commented ”I’m very much looking forward to joining the Excalibur team, James has created a well respected, reputable brand in Swindon and the surrounding area. I want to help the board move the company further forward to become the leading communications provider in the South-West.”

With more expansion plans due in the next quarter and the opening of new offices in both Bristol and Cardiff, 2014 is set to be an exciting year already for the Excalibur brand.
