On a daily basis, over 15,000 of you have been out there on the frontline. You have applied for essential roles in your droves, stepped up when it mattered most and worked all manner of shifts, often at the weekends or during the night, to keep our country running and helping to save lives.

As lockdown measures begin to ease, Pertemps is still putting people out on the frontline and more and more of you back into vital roles that will get the economy back on its feet.

This special edition newsletter is only a snapshot of some of your fabulous achievements in recent weeks, showcasing your determination to put others first in the fightback against Covid-19. It also provides an update on some of the work Pertemps has been doing out in the community to lift spirits at a time when everyone needed a boost.

It is still early days, but there is light at the end of the tunnel and our flexible workers will be at the forefront of brining a new kind of normal back to our everyday lives.

While much of the focus of the current pandemic has quite rightly been on the NHS, hundreds of thousands of workers have been essential to supporting other sectors that have kept the country running.

It has given Pertemps enormous pleasure to see so many of these key roles filled by you, our flexible workforce – your commitment and dedication has been truly heroic.

Your service for this country at a time of national and global crisis will never be forgotten; supporting education and children’s services, distributing and producing food, working in utilities, communications and finance, supporting the NHS, health and social care networks in so many, many ways.
