TGT MEETS...Jenny Renard from Total Guide to Bristol

Our latest TGt Meets features Jenny Renard, who is part of the Total Guide To Bristol team. We asked her all about why she loves working with the Total family and all about how her new venture is going!

Let us know your name and a little bit about yourself.

My name is Jenny and I’m the type of person that likes to get a job done and to get it done well. I’ve tried my hand at a variety of different jobs and enjoyed every single one of them. I am creative, systematic and a people person. Learning from experiences is important and that is what I intend on doing throughout my career so I can be the best that I can be.

What made you want to join the Total Guide to Family?

I was born and raised in Swindon and over the past few years Total Guide to Swindon has been a prominent name in the community. More recently I worked for a company that used the services of Total Guide and found it was hugely beneficial to sales and brand awareness. They cared about the success of the business I was with and I loved and respected that so it was only natural that I wanted to be a part of it; to help a wide range of people achieve success through advertising using the Total Guide to brand.

Why Bristol?

Bristol is close to Swindon and it is such a lively hub of activity that it was the obvious choice. Bristol has so much going on and needs a central spot for good quality content that can be trusted.

What are you most looking forward to in your new venture?

I can’t wait to meet new people and to see other people’s success through using Total Guide to Bristol’s services. I am also very much looking forward to the networking events that we will be holding. We will be bringing businesses together and connecting people.

Are there any businesses in Bristol you’d particularly like to work with?

I’m most looking forward to working with all of the different events that are going on in Bristol! There is something to do every week and it would be great to work with all of them to really be able to show the mixture of what’s going on in Bristol.

What skills do you have that you think will make Total Guide to Bristol a success?

I am positive and realistic. I have a goal set and I work towards achieving that. Total Guide to Bristol will be a success through excellent team work and communication.

What are your plans for the first year?

To build a good reputation and become a trusted name amongst the people of Bristol and businesses. I want to make as many connections as possible to prove that what we offer is honest and good quality.

How do you like to spend your time off?

Sometimes I like to socialise and go out for a meal, a movie or a day trip to somewhere new. The other half of the time is spent creating projects of varying kinds. I love a good cross stich and have recently got a sewing machine to make things! One evening a week I turn in to Brown Owl for my Brownie Group! I love being with the group of girls and teaching them how to be respectable, positive young women. Being a role model to them is important to me and like to help bring their dreams to life that perhaps they wouldn’t be able to achieve at home or at school.

Where’s your favourite place to eat out in Bristol?

Taka Taka! I went on holiday to Zante and fell in love with Gyros. I was very sad to leave because I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat the greatest food I have ever had every day until a friend surprised me with a trip to Taka Taka and had their Gyros. It was almost like being back in Zante! It is as close as I can get to being back there. Taka Taka has my heart!
