TGt Meets...Melanie Dawson From Total Guide to Bristol

Our latest TGt meets features Melanie Dawson, Who is part of the Total Guide to Bristol team. We asked her all about why she loves working for the Total family and all about how her new venture is going!

1. Let us know you name and a bit about yourself?

Hello, I am Melanie and I work for Total Guide to as part of the Business Development department.

2. What made you want to join the Total Guide to Family?

I had seen the work that Total Guide to does for each company, and I was really intrigued how the whole operations of the business worked behind closed doors, so I was so keen to know more. I am glad I did we have a great team!

3. Why Bristol?

The reason I chose Bristol as a place to live and work is because I love the culture of the city, and it really is like no other place!

4. What are you most looking forward to in your new venture?

I am looking forward to helping each and every one of our clients grow along side us, as we are a small company we have a long way to go but it is already so exciting what the future holds for us.

5. Are there any businesses In Bristol you would particularly like to work with?

There are so many businesses in Bristol that I would love to work with, but I have to say it would be The Wave which lets you surf safely especially if you are a beginner!

6. What skills do you have that you think will make Total Guide to Bristol a success?

My passion for every job I do will really help Total Guide to thrive. I love doing research and really believing in the company you work for is so important for a successful outcome. With 5 years sales and Business Development experience, I will be able to help shape our team into the best it can be.

7. What are your plans for the first year?

My plans for my first year with Total Guide to is definitely building good relationships with my clients to create a really successful future for Total Guide to.

8. How do you like to spend your time off?

In my spare time, I love going to the gym and keeping active whether that be swimming in the sea or walking up mountains around the UK. I am a very outdoorsy person!

9. Where is your favourite place to eat out in Bristol?

I love Caribbean food so I would have to say my favourite place would be Caribbean Croft on Stokes Croft, they do the best Peppered Coconut Steak. Highly recommend!
