Harbour Hub to Launch on Bristol’s Harbourside

The team which brought us Cotham Hill’s Rocksalt and which just created the World’s Biggest Negroni has teamed up with the owners of Dhamaka on Corn St to launch a new concept: Harbour Hub in the old Spoke & Stringer unit on Gasworks Lane, Bristol.

Operations Managers Ed Sargent and Ben Salgueno are heading up the project to turn the building into a bar and kitchen which will serve their own blend of Wogan coffee and croissants each morning, fish & chips and other light bites from 12 noon until 9pm and offer a full bar service in the evenings.

Drinks will include Iford Cider, Korev larger, Bath Ales Gem (all on draught), a wine list including Dunleavy Rosé, and a there will be a cocktail menu which Ben explains:

"We have designed cocktails to reflect the simplicity and elegance of the venue - well known, recognisable classics with tropical flavours for the summer season and the waterfront location, from frozen pina coladas and basil margaritas to watermelon mojitos and espresso martinis"

Harbour Hub food leads with fish & chips but will also offer light bites, such as humous and flatbread, chicken Caesar salad, chilli chicken bites, Asian noodle salad, loaded fries, spring rolls, fries served with homemade vegan mayo and bloody Mary ketchup.

Ed says: "We are very excited to be opening a bar and kitchen in such an iconic Bristol location as we come into the summer season. If sipping frozen pina coladas or chilled local wine next to the water as the sun goes down is your vibe then I'll see you this summer!"
