The much anticipated reopening sees a new menu that brings together an exciting social dining and drinking experience, featuring fresh flavours and ingredients inspired by modern world food trends.
Whether you fancy something from the grill; such as four-bone free-range lamb rack, rotisserie pork belly or expertly aged steaks, there’s something to suit all tastes. A range of exciting new small plates, designed for sharing, make the perfect start to your dining experience; with dishes such as crab, chilli and red pepper arancini, hummus and toasted ciabatta and wild Atlantic scallops with lobster and crab bonbons.
The Botanist say its reopening will cement its position on the map as the ultimate premium destination for occasions with family and friends, whilst still maintaining its character and charm.
Its new and improved décor has left no stone unturned, taking inspiration from the UK’s most glamorous dining and drinking hotspots. The place to be seen, its styling is complete with patterns and floral murals, with the colour pallet incorporating blush pinks, golds and deep greens.
The new look is complete with elegant curved seating, contemporary gold accents, marble tiling and a new bar space that will feature high ceilings and sky lights. The pub is also welcoming the addition of a secret courtyard area to sit back, relax and enjoy a stunning wine from their new extensive range. Additionally, expertly crafted furniture, eye-catching artwork and feature lighting add a touch of glamour.
General Manager, Karl Miles comments: “While we have been temporarily closed the team has been busy transforming The Botanist into something evening more spectacular; offering contemporary dining, the most decadent cocktails and a cosy space to enjoy time with family and friends.

Leading the established team at The Botanist is Head Chef, Marcin Zambrzyck who has been with the pub for five years.
Premium wines such as Premier Cru Burgundy, Amarone Della Valpolicella and Rioja Gran Reserva, will now be available by the glass using Coravin technology. A new cocktail menu has been developed by the team, which includes classics with a twist like the Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Cosmopolitan.
Centrally located in the heart of Bristol, the pub boasts its very own courtyard situated in the historic and charismatic surroundings of Berkley Square, only a stone’s throw away from Park Row.
