Explore Bristol's Best Walks
Bristol and the surrounding areas are home to some stunning countryside walks with a host of exhilarating routes on your doorstep and further afield perfect for adventure seekers. From the wild of Leigh Woods to the marauding hills of Troopers Hill, a stroll in the great outdoors is one way of getting out the house and staying safe.
Many of Bristol's walking routes includes sports courts and pitches to make your walk a little more exciting as well as public toilets and cafes for you to stop off and have a break!
Fun at the Farm
A trip to the farm is a favourite pastime and a great way to get out with the kids whilst staying safe and adhering to socially distanced guidelines. Looking out for all the different animals proves to be a fun activity and luckily enough Bristol is situated perfectly to all surrounding farms.
Most farms allow you to meet and feed the farm animals, enjoy tractor rides, and explore their outdoor adventure play areas throughout the winter.
Head to the Zoo
Everyone loves a visit to the zoo! So this January why not take the family on a Covid-secure day out to Bristol Zoo Gardens or The Wild Place Project.
Bristol Zoo Gardens and The Wild Place Project have a fantastic array of exotic animals to marvel at including lions, white rhinos and everyone's favourite - meerkats! This exciting zoo is just a short drive from the city centre in Bristol and open till 5.30pm until March.
