Bristol Sounds has announced Annie Mac as its final headliner, completing the full line-up of back-to-back gigs this summer. Bringing nothing but good vibes and dance-floor anthems to the harbourside, Annie Mac will be performing on Saturday 29 June 2024, with support acts soon to be announced for the full-day party.
Broadcasting on BBC Radio 1 for 17 years on their flagship shows, Annie’s global status as a DJ has taken her to the biggest stages and festivals around the world and provided the soundtrack to endless summers. Annie’s inclusive clubbing concept sold out Finsbury Park in London last summer and clubs around the country and is set to electrify the Amphitheatre with an unforgettable performance. Bringing a dynamic set and unparalleled ability to create an atmosphere of total ecstasy, Bristol Sounds-goers can expect nothing but smash-hits and dance-pop beats as they bask in the sun.
A key music industry figure and icon to female and LGBTQ+ artists, Annie Mac has created a hardcore, loyal fan base and is renowned for putting on a party where people can feel safe, included and celebrate as their true authentic selves “no matter what age they are and how much sleep they need” - Annie Mac.
From all-day gigs to night-long celebrations, Bristol Sounds will commence on Saturday 22 and run until Sunday 30 June, bringing some of the biggest names in rock, pop, reggae and dance to Bristol for seven nights of music-magic. Other headliners include Skindred, Gentleman's Dub Club vs The Skints, James Arthur, Busted, The Breeders and the now sold-out Placebo.

Event promoter Conal Dodds of Crosstown Concerts comments:
‘What a way to complete our line-up and go out with a bang. Every year, we like to programme something for everyone, and this year truly is no exception. Bristol Sounds is for the fans; and we’ve really gone for an eclectic mix here, from 90s rock to noughties pop and now an unmissable DJ set from Annie Mac.”
