Bristol BEACON

Bristol Takeover returns to showcase local talent at Bristol Beacon

The Bristol Takeover is returning to Bristol Beacon on Saturday, November 2nd, showcasing the city’s diverse music scene.

This free one-day event will feature a variety of local talent, including bands, DJs, and grassroots artists, performing across three stages at the venue.

After a break since 2022, the event will bring a lively mix of genres, offering music lovers the chance to discover emerging artists. Performances will take place in spaces like Bridgehouse, Lantern Hall, and the newly added Weston Stage in the Cellars, creating a unique atmosphere for attendees.

The lineup includes a range of performers such as soulful singer Alamay, acoustic artist Bethany Ley, alt-rock band Birdman Cult, and experimental composer Daniel Inzani. Other artists include Dr Chonk & The Nature Injection with their funk and psychedelic sounds, indie-pop group Make Friends, and electronic producer Kai Whiston. The event will also feature R&B from SAMBEE, Afro-Brazilian rhythms by Soma Soma, and the emotionally charged performances of Thomas Ridley, with more acts to be announced soon.

Supported by the PRS Foundation Talent Development Network, the Bristol Takeover provides a platform for the city’s emerging talent and highlights Bristol Beacon’s dedication to nurturing local artists.

The event is free to attend, and attendees can register on the Bristol Beacon website to receive updates and information on the full lineup.
