Prepare to journey to a parallel world: Tickets on sale NOW for Wake The Tiger The world’s first Amazement Park® is opening in Bristol on Saturday 30th July

An inspiring new world is waiting to be discovered in St. Philips, Bristol – as tickets for the hugely anticipated Wake The Tiger are on sale from 12.00pm today at www.wakethetiger.com.

Blurring the lines between an experiential art gallery, interactive theme park and detailed film set, all with a surreal and beautiful twist, Wake The Tiger is set to offer an immersive adventure for all ages. From the artistic team behind the ground-breaking festival, Boomtown Fair, attendees should prepare to explore a multi-layered labyrinth of creative environments and fantastical wonders.

Wake The Tiger will invite attendees to step through a portal into the parallel world of ‘Meridia’, where they will enter an old abandoned factory once inhabited by a mysterious community of adventurers staging wild experiments. The other worldly concept has been dreamt up with the aim of inspiring ways to reconnect people with their environment and community.

With 27 distinct spaces within the experience, the art installations explore themes of connection and innovation, inspiration and discovery. From the underground networks of the Mycelium Room at the factory's core, to the intergalactic explorations that await near the end of the journey, a world of intrigue and inspiration awaits. Guests will travel through illuminated singing ice, underwater worlds, mechanical chambers and elder forests in search of the secrets of the Lost Meridians.

On sale now for the long-awaited opening on Saturday 30th July, tickets for Wake The Tiger are priced from £16.50. The voyage through the parallel world is anticipated to last around an hour. Following the experience, guests will have the opportunity to  enjoy high quality food and drink in the Amazement Park’s® stand out cafe.

Lak Mitchell, Creative Director of Wake The Tiger said: “You have to see it to believe it. Wake The Tiger is an abandoned time capsule of fantastical experiences just waiting to be discovered. It will invite you to explore connections with the environment around you as well as challenge you to transform the world we all live in. This is a vision that plays into and expands on everything we have spent our lives building, taking raw underground art and fusing it with the latest technology. We can’t wait for guests to explore what we have created in the heart of Bristol.”
