REVIEW: Christmas at Almondsbury Garden Centre
You know you’re getting older when a visit to a garden centre feels like an exciting day out and Almonsbury Garden Centre didn’t disappoint.
We had a lovely afternoon Christmas shopping, with a fantastic selection of decorations and gifts for all ages. Many of the festive lights were even reduced, which was a bonus. A highlight was meeting the Bristolian reindeer, who brought plenty of smiles to everyone’s faces.
Dinosaur fans, take note: this is your garden centre. They had an impressive range of Christmas dino decorations – because nothing says "Merry Christmas" like a T-Rex with tinsel.
The children had great fun following the festive trail, hunting for gonks hidden around the shop, while we got carried away Christmas shopping.
The team were super helpful in picking out our Christmas tree, with plenty of sizes and shapes to choose from. Now, we just need to decorate it.
To finish the visit, we stopped by the Florum Café for some delicious hot chocolates, a perfect way to end a festive trip.
