Snapped: Jenny Jones Homecoming Parade

City Sightseeing Bristol ensured that Jenny Jones received a homecoming fit for an Olympian. The bronze medallist was welcomed home with a parade through her home town of Downend before journeying into Bristol for a civic reception at City Hall. The bus was adorned with ‘welcome home’ banners, flags, bunting and was accompanied by police out-riders throughout its journey. Despite living in Downend, South Gloucestershire Jenny is proud to say she's from Bristol. The neighbouring councils worked together to create a special celebration event to recognise her win.
