JOB OF THE WEEK: Corporate Receptionist

They are pleased to be supporting their Global Professional Services Client who are looking for a Corporate Receptionist to join their team in Central Bristol.
Role: This is working on a maternity cover contract for approximately 12 months and an immediate start would be highly desirable. They are looking for a strong, pro-active, immaculate Front of House - Client Host with excellent people skills, providing 5* meeting & conferences, events, private dining and reception services, working directly for their client based in central Bristol.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm with a salary of £23,000 - £24,000 per annum on offer plus excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Cover all Front of House Services
- Welcome & direct guests to meeting rooms, escorting & taking coats as required.
- Provide information on the available facilities, arranging viewings and accompanying clients on tours of the facilities as and when required.
- Communicate the needs of the client accurately and timely to the relevant parties providing services for events.
- Ensuring all meeting rooms, services, facilities and public areas are maintained to the expected high standards.
- Occasionally moving furniture between meeting room spaces for events - tables and chairs.
- Be aware of room status in client rooms at all times & support internal rooms appropriately, ensuring the room is ready prior to the next booking.
- Maintain a strong awareness of business activity & communicate all updates with your team members.
- Comply with the Front of House Services Standard Operating Procedures
- Using Switch board
- End of day closing up the 5th floor including terrace
- End of day locking main building entrance doors
- Daily Risk assessment checks
- Pool car checks including booking services / collections for repair and logging mileage
- Cleaning & maintaining coffee machines
- Servicing first aid boxes
- Ordering catering requirements, first aid supplies, etc and checking / approving invoices accordingly
- Snack vending machine - purchasing supplies externally and re-stocking
Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience of working within a Corporate Reception, fast paced environment
- Strong customer service skills.
- Professional/confident telephone manner and excellent oral & written communication skills, good computer literacy.
- Ability to use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
- Immaculate presentation.
- A strong team player with the ability to multi-task & prioritise work commitments.
- Flexible approach to departmental requirements.
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
