The aircraft, originally built in 1968 for Japan Airlines, made headlines three years ago when it was transported along the M5, M4, and M32 to its new home at Skyline Park in Brislington.
Initially intended to be stripped and converted into an office and event space, the jet has instead been meticulously restored to its former glory.
Property investor Jonny Palmer, the plane's owner, decided to preserve its original interior following advice from his wife.
The refurbished aircraft, now known as PytchAir, is available for exclusive dinner parties and overnight stays.
The jet was previously sold to a private investor in 1981 and outfitted as a luxury private plane.
Palmer, inspired by the opportunity to acquire a disused aircraft at Cotswold Airport, purchased the plane through his investment company in 2020.
The project received approval from Bristol City Council later that year.
In 2022, the plane’s exterior was given a vibrant new paint job, while efforts continued to restore its lavish 1980s interior, featuring walnut paneling and leather seats.
The 27-tonne aircraft remains a striking example of luxury from a bygone era. Palmer is currently working on integrating a renewable power system into the jet and has hinted at another significant project in the future, though details remain undisclosed.
