We recommend
1. Get a cheap or old phone
Thing with festivals is because they are so full on and hectic, plus there being drink involved too, you lose track of where you've put your phone or have the hard desicion of whether to take your phone with you or not.
So how about taking an old unused phone or buying a cheap one for the purpose of the festival so that you aren't rsiking your normal phone. You may not be able to take photos but at least the battery will last forever.
2. Make a flag for your tent
There are thousandas of tents at a festival, some being the same as yours and the last thing you would want to do at the end of the night, after drinking as well is try looking for your tent.
So how about making a simple flag either out of fabric or a pice of clothing so that you know that its the right tent that you're going back to.
3. Camp near a landmark
Like we said before, there are so many places to camp at a festival and if you're drunk and can' find your friends and need to find you way back it will be so much easier to find.
So how about camping near a landmark at the festival, could be as small as a burger van or a ride or even a sign, so that you know you're close to your tent.
4. Invest in a bum bag
Struggling for somewhere to keep your belongings when at a festival?
Invest in a trendy bum bag, it's the best way to keep your crucial items handy and safe from pick pocketers. And moshpits. Always keep it topped up with hand sanitiser, tissues, mints and cash.
Safety first.
5. Hangover Cure
If you've overdone it and need to get back out there dancing to your favourite bands but you're really feeling the hangover and can't bear the thought of any more drink or even moving.
You'll need Boots Rehydration Sachets, £2.99. They restore natural salt and fluid balance and so help to aid a quick recovery.
6. Bin bags
You never know what festival weather is going to be like, whether you'll be dancing in the scorching sun or prancing around in terrential rain.
So, by carrying some bing bags you can create emergency ponchos, protecting your stuff if your tent springs a leak and of course, packing your rubbish up when it's time to leave.
7. Pack an unscented deodrant
Deodrant at a festival is as important as your drink! Nobody wants to be smelling foul around people and especially when you're dancing around in the sun.
So pack some unscented deodrant, which does still keep you smelling good but also stops insect bites itching and keeps sweat at bay.
8. Leave Early
If you can possibly bear it, try and get up super early on the day you're leaving to beat the crowds and make a speedy getaway.
