Indoor Bike Park Start-Up Needs Votes to Secure Funding
Bristol, UK, (1st May 2015) – New start-up Bristol Bike Lodge is in the running for Richard Branson’s “Pitch-to-Rich 2015” competition with the chance of winning a marketing campaign worth £150, 000.
Virgin’s new initiative could, for the first time, help bring a multi-discipline indoor cycle venue to the UK. Bristol Bike Lodge requires hundreds of votes on their “Pitch to Rich” page to progress to round 2.
To show support, visit www.bristolbikelodge.com and follow the instructions, voting closes on Tuesday 5th May. “Support from Mr. Branson and his team will be instrumental to funding this stage of the business. That’s something worth voting for this spring” – Alex ‘Lex’ Gross, Managing Director, Bristol Bike Lodge.
Bristol Bike Lodge will be a unique venture in the UK, offering a varied array of riding for all skill levels, in a new and interesting way. Joe Prisel, world class park builder and owner of Burlington Bike Park said having a bike park in the UK would be a “no brainer”, as North American bike parks do so well even with a population density seven times less than the UK and more predictable weather. Bristol Bike Lodge will be a big addition to what is an already vibrant cycling scene.
