Sunday the 11th of May saw over 11,000 eager runners take to the streets of Bristol for the annual 10k race. Check out our snaps below:
As one of the most popular of its kind, Bristol 10k saw another impressive turnout for its 2014 race. The cultural city makes a fantastically scenic backdrop; with the race starting and ending at Bristol's Historical Harbourside.
The race lead the energetic participants out and back along the Portway, through the stunning Avon Gorge, and passed under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
TGtB's photographers were there to snap the cheering supporters and the dedicated runners as they crossed the finish line. Scott Overall came in a speedy first place with a time of 00:30:20, closely followed by Jack Martin 00:30:23, and in thrid place Tom Payn on 00:30:37. Well done to all who took part and we hope to see you again next year!
