Snapped: Bristol Harbourside Triathlon
Bristol's historic Harbourside was taken over by TriBristol on Sunday the 29th of June. The annual triathlon saw hundreds of participants take to the water, their bikes and their feet to compete in both the Olympic and sprint triathlon. TGtB went along to show our support..
The 2014 Bristol Harbourside Triathlon marks the 5th event presented by TriBristol at the historic water front. The popularity of the triathlon has put it firmly on the triathlon racing calendar in the South West of England as one of the premium events - not to be missed by triathlon enthusiasts.
The event held both Olympic and Sprint distances. The Oylmpic distance featured a 1500m swim, a 40km bike ride and a 10k run. The sprint distance was a quick 750m swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run.
