Total Guide to's Liz Ledger Named in South West Business Insider's 42 Under 42 Class of 2017

We've very proud to announce that our founder and Managing Director, Liz Ledger, has been named in South West Business Insider's '42 Under 42' Class of 2017.

Each year, South West Business Insider - a widely respected B2B media publication - releases a profile of 42 young entrepreneurs and business leaders who they feel should be on the nation's radar. Unlike many industry awards out there, the Business Insider 42 Under 42 is not up for application and is done completely independenty, meaning Liz's inclusion came as a fantastic surpise, although totally well deserved.

Liz's inclusion in the 42 Under 42 Class of 2017 coincides with Total Guide to's fifth anniversary, a milestone that we will be celebrating with a Summer Fesitval Party. You can see just how far we've come by viewing our By the Numbers article, here.

Although absolutely delighted, Liz is also a little embarassed by inadividually being named in the 42 Under 42 and said "I'm completely flattered and proud that Total and our hard work has been recognised with this award, but our growth and success is a reflection of the team and the fantastic business community we have the privilge of working with. I will be celebrating this and our 5th Annivesary with colleagues and clients at the Summer party we are hosting and we're looking forward to the Awards Ceremony in July".

Total Guide to (Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Manchester and Reading)
Total Guide to produces online content hubs for fives towns and cities across the UK, bringing everything from business news and interviews to what's on, unique guides, competition, sport and job adverts. The first site, Total Guide to Swindon, went live in 2012 and had sponsorship pre-booked. Sites for Bath, Bristol, Manchester and Reading followed, and it will soon lauch its first franchise site. The company has eight full-time staff and ten freelancers, and this expertise allows it to sell social media training and email marketing services to clients. Ledger says she enjoys not only the continual change in digital technology and growing figures (225,000 monthly unique visitors, with 46,000 email subscribers and 59,000 social media fans/followers) but being a manager too.
